Its been sooooo long away from the scene - it seems blogs away!
Well, what a week - we had feedback and thats all taken in and digested finally. Decisions have been made to re-track and be ambitious. Studios spaces are pretty bare at the moment, but I`m sure it wont last long like that. Two good speakers this week were Neo Heny and Paul Collinson. Both were very different in their approach to making a living - and thats not a bad thing - we need diversity. The honesty displayed was really refreshing also; no big talk, no hiding the calamities - this was good audience captivation. I particularly like Neo Heny`s work strategies - her dipping in and out of roles, and getting to know where the money is and how to get it!!! Her work is a real asset to the people who havent experienced simple playtime activities - that I personally remember - being of the age before children became guarded to the extreme, and it had me thinking I would love to do that, and be truly useful in a position of trust.
Lightworks was again chewed over at our small class meeting on Friday - it looks as though entries of film clips etc are rolling in. A bit iffy for the childrens activity table - getting some enthusiasm going is the thing. If all else fails, I`ll set something similar to
last years lantern pod up with some mask making possibly, and badge kits. All ideas will be considered - if there are any out there - let me have them. PLEASE.
Caio for now.
